If I can open someone’s eyes up and introduce them to even a tiny piece of Indigenous culture, I would be happy with that. If these paintings can make someone stop and feel anything I think that’s pretty special.
Sometimes I’ll have an idea in my head and I’’ll try to get it out onto the canvas but it will always change, and I just have to go “Ok this is where we are going” ha-ha.
